TRANSFER NEWS Sam Hill to Join Nero KOM Racing for 2019
Breakaway artist Sam Hill joins us from arguably the friendlist team in the NRS, Phoenix Cycling Collective. An escape artist to rival Harry Houdini, Sam has always raced with an opportunistic style, something we are quite familiar with.
Notable performances include two second places at the Tour of the Great South Coast taking home tours most aggressive jersey show Sam is an incredibly strong rider with a great ability to read a race.
It is rare to come across a rider with quite as powerful a ‘just get it done’ attitude as Sam who will bring a wealth of experience gained after years of racing at the top level of Australian cycling.
As someone “passionate about cycling” Sam is aiming to integrate seamlessly into the Nero environment, sharing a similar philosphy to that of the team. “I would like to give a big thank you to my team Phoenix Cycling Collective as they have made the last 2 years an unforgettable experience. I feel like I have developed a lot on and off the bike in the 2 years under their guidance”
For the 2019 season Nero KOM Racing will have the 2016, 2017 and 2018 NSW Elite Road Premiership winners in Sam Hill, Jesse Coyle and Angus Calder.
